|Prerequisites required to take this course:|
|Current Red Cross First Aid Instructor or CPR Instructor award (within the two year certification period or the two year grace period*).
Must have taught a minimum of 2 registered Canadian Red Cross First Aid courses during the two-year period since obtaining "Instructor" designation, or maintained status through re-certification. Any Canadian Red Cross First Aid courses, including CPR may be considered. At least one of the 2 courses must be Standard First Aid. Completion of these courses must be verified with the Canadian Red Cross Society prior to enrolling in the Re-certification Workshop.
*There is a two-year grace period for FA and CPR Instructors. During this period FAIís/CPRIís are not able to teach courses however they are still eligible to re-certify their award provided they meet the re-certification prerequisites.
